CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025

Scheme Overview
The Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Assam, has introduced the “CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme” to provide one-time financial assistance to eligible full-time research scholars. This initiative aims to promote academic excellence and innovation in the state by supporting students pursuing higher education.

Financial Assistance Details

| For Divyang Research Scholars | ₹40,000 (One-time) |
Mode of Disbursement: The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the eligible scholars through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Eligibility Criteria
- Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Academic Status: The applicant must be a Full-time Research Scholar or a Full-time Divyang Research Scholar.
- Institution: The scholar must be from a Government or Public institution (State or Central) situated in Assam.
- Admission Year: The applicant must be admitted to a PhD program on or after 1st April 2021.
Documents Required
Candidates need to upload the following documents in the specified format during the online application process:
- Proof of Identity.
- Contact Details.
- Proof of PhD Admission (Admission Letter or Certificate).
- Institution Details and Enrolment Number.
- Self-declaration and Exclusion Compliance Documents.
- Proof of Permanent Residence in Assam.
- Documents proving eligibility as Divyang (for Divyang Research Scholars).
- Income Certificate of Family.
- Employment Status Certificate of Parents.
- Declaration regarding non-receipt of other high-value scholarships.
How to Apply
- Visit the official portal of the Directorate of Investment and Development of Skills (DIDS).
- Navigate to the “CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme” section.
- Fill in all required personal, contact, and institutional details, including the enrolment number.
- Upload scanned copies of all the necessary documents mentioned above.
- Review the application carefully before final submission.
- Once submitted, the application will be sent to your institution for verification.
